The "Faculty" of the Catholic Jedi Academy greets and prays for you, our Academicians", and bids you a holy and peaceful Christmas renewed with the hope that only the Christ Child could give us.
The Catholic Jedi Academy offers this Christmastime video reflection on the irony that Our Lord Jesus Christ, through the mystery of the Incarnation, was born as a human and divine Child so He would die as a human and divine Man... for all of us.
May we ponder His Birth as we honor His Death.
A Blessed and Merry Christmas To All!
"I Wonder As I Wander" is a Christmas carol written by folklorist and singer John Jacob Niles. The carol has its origins in a song fragment collected by Niles on July 16, 1933.
1 I wonder as I wander out under the sky
How Jesus the Savior did come for to die
For poor orn’ry people like you and like I.
I wonder as I wander out under the sky.
2 When Mary birthed Jesus, ’twas in a cow’s stall
With wise men and farmers and shepherds and all.
But high from God’s heaven, a star’s light did fall
And the promise of ages it then did recall.
3 If Jesus had wanted for any wee thing
A star in the sky or a bird on the wing
Or all of God’s angels in heav’n for to sing
He surely could have it, ’cause He was the King.
4 I wonder as I wander out under the sky
How Jesus the Savior did come for to die
For poor orn’ry people like you and like I.
I wonder as I wander out under the sky.
