I agree with the content here, but I feel that the greatest danger in Halloween is not the spiritualism (I certainly never really knew of these practices) but rather the crass commercialism that is exhibited in the period. It is not as directly damning as consorting with the unholy, but I feel it is a much larger and normalized trend.

You can be sure they have accurate numbers on "who will vote" and "how"...we live in a very sick world, and New York is close to the top.....perhaps right behind California. If they were really annoying me, then yes, I think I would ask them to move elsewhere. As Anonymous above me said, people don't realize what they're doing sometimes and would I think they would have understood if you had told them so.

Personally speaking, I hate when people do stuff like that while something reverent, like a prayer or the Mass, is going on. I went to an Indonesian Mass once and there was some guy running up and down the aisle, snapping pictures of everybody, as if the Holy Sacrifice wasn't being played out before him. I can't help but just glare at those people in the hope that they'll get the hint and sit down.

Well, finding new ones allows us to be aware of the threat and work agaisnt it. There are several brilliant projects in the works that would be designed to deflect asteroids. Nukes, solar sails, and more.
