Hurricane Earl from Space

Here's a picture of Hurricane Earl taken by Astronaut Douglas H. Wheelock from the International Space Station and posted on his Twitter feed:

If you are so inclined, you can follow Colonel Wheelock's tweets from outer space at Astro_Wheels.

He posts some interesting observations and amazing pictures such as this one of New York City at night:

And this one of him riding the robotic arm of the space station:

Pictures from space always keep me in awe of the grandeur of God's creation and how He humbled himself to come down and walk on our little planet.

Here's one final photo.  As Astronaut Wheelock describes it:
A peaceful view of the Holy Land, without any borders. Israel – Jordan – Lebanon – Syria – Palestine …all framing this shot of the port city of Haifa and east to the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan River. In the center of the photo, the city of Nazareth.
